Wildlife Encounters

Precautions

Deer, raccoon, fox, birds, etc. look really cute, but please don’t touch them, leave them alone. Babies are sometimes left alone by their mother, who has gone off to feed. The mother knows where the baby is and, if the baby is touched, the mother may not claim the baby, since it now has human scent on it. Not touching also goes for older wildlife. There is no telling if they could be carrying a disease.
