Phase 3: Limited Capacity Browsing

NOTICE

Updated April 21, 2021

Library Access Resumes on a Limited Basis April 17, 2021

We are open for browsing with the following modifications to pre-pandemic services.

  • All patrons in the library over the age of 2 must wear a mask. Your vaccine protects you, but your mask protects everyone else.  We will not restrict entry to the library based on vaccination status.
  • We will not have a formal time limit on visits, but if the library starts getting crowded, we may ask the patrons who have been here the longest to finish up and make room for others. Indoor crowds of unrelated households less than 6 ft apart are still not encouraged at this time.
  • Appointments are encouraged for computer use. Call 547-2730 to make an appointment.
  •  Small on-site programs like the Craft Workshops may resume with a capacity limit or be planned as outdoor activities.
  • Larger in-person programs are not planned at this time; they may resume at a larger alternative location in the future.
  • If there is a local spike in cases like we saw in late March--early April, the library reserves the right to revert to curbside-service only.

Thank you for your cooperation with this next step in library operation.
