NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Changes to the Francestown Zoning Ordinance
 
The Francestown Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 at 6:30 PM at the Francestown Town Hall, 2 New Boston Rd, in order to present and discuss the following proposed change to the Francestown Zoning Ordinance and to present one proposed change to the Planning Board Rules of Procedure (6.B) governing public notices:
 
Amend ARTICLE III, Section 3.9.2 Home-based business to increase the number of vehicles allowed on lots greater than 1 acre from 1 vehicle to 2 vehicles and up to 2 trailers for commercial use, provided that all commercial material, equipment, and motorized equipment is stored so as not to be substantively visible from nearby residences.
Home based businesses on lots of less than 1 acre will still be limited to 1 commercial vehicle and no outside storage of commercial material.
Additional edits/changes are proposed to better reflect the intent of the ordinance.
