New Hampshire law requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every 10 years.  Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past four years (since April 1, 2017) must re-register to remain on the checklist.  The Supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when originally registering.
 
The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Francestown will hold two sessions related to this process.
 
Session 1:  Supervisors of the Checklist will meet to review the list of voters to be sent a removal letter.
 
Date and Time:  Thursday, July 22, 2021, 7:00-7:30pm
Location:  Town Offices, 27 Main Street, Francestown NH
 
Session 2:  Supervisors of the Checklist will meet to re-register voters who have not voted since April 1, 2017, accept applications for new voter registration, accept requests for correction of the checklist, and/or accept changes in political party affiliation.
 
Date and Time:  Saturday, August 21, 2021  11:00-11:30am
Location:  Town Offices, 27 Main Street, Francestown NH
 
Applicants for re-registration and new registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile should bring that proof when registering.  Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, citizenship and domicile.
