Minutes of Meeting
Wednesday, September 13, 2023

Present: Sue Jonas, BobBitterli, Laura Abrahamsen, Alfred Eisenberg

Discussion was mostly discussing the list of unserved/underserved addresses in Francestown, missing addresses from the FCC Fabric Database, and recent construction.

Recent construction in non-tds addresses I have as:

790 Poor Farm Road
212 Main Street (already served by Comcast)
143 Stevens Road (approx. not yet assigned)
3 Cross Road?

The Cross Road address wasn’t in Jamie’s new construction list he sent out.

Other addresses we know if in the unserved/underserved areas that are missing from the FCC Fabric:

210 Farrington Rd
199 Woodland Lane

The Farrington rd one is important as it’s the end of the line.  I’m not as worried about addresses in the middle of a run where the new lines will pass through anyway.

One concern I have is for people with long driveways.   For example, bible hill is covered by comcast but there are some people with long driveways (> 1000ft) which were unaffordable for residence to pay what Comcast wanted to charge for running cable to their house.  I am afraid these people could get left out if new fiber doesn’t have to pass through that road if we get a grant.  We need to discuss this with any provider we choose.

Attached are spreadsheets of the list of unserved addresses from my work in 2020/2021 as well as the FCC Fabric that HUB66 gave us.

We need to look at this list along with my map to make sure all unserved addresses in the list are in the fabric and note the ones that aren’t this week.  We can potentially file a challenge as well as give the list to Matt  Conserva from NH BEA to help make sure they are valid for any grant.

I also talked to Sarah Pyle and plan to write up a quick update for the Francestown News.
