Con Com Minutes 04.01.2019

 

 

 

Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm

 

Members present:  Betsy Hardwick, Pam Avery, Jim St. Jean, Kelly Marshall, Don Crooker, Don Shuffleton, Robin Haubrich, and Scot Heath. 

 

Members of the public in attendance:None.

 

-January 7; correction to page 1- 2005 town meeting voted to merge/consolidate tax map parcels 4/11 and 4/16.

-March 4; spelling correction- remove “d” from “Rodgers”.

Both approved as amended; motion by St. Jean, second by Heath, all in favor.

 

Notices and Announcements: 

-Saving Special Places Conference-Betsy, Kelly, Robin, and Pam are attending.

-Suggestion from Fire Chief Kullgren-Forestland Grant available for wildfire fuel reduction, prescribed burns for training purposes.

-Lead tackle box update-Kelly has a box up at the transfer station, others to go to the lake associations.

 

New Business: 

-Town Forest Info Project-Pam to update map/brochure; Jim to work on website updates; Pam to hold “contemplative” walks, no dogs, to start with the Lord Forest; Betsy to write articles for the Francestown News.

-Earth Day/roadside clean-up-Bags to go out, posters to go up-Robin.

-ARM priority list- the list on meeting agenda was approved.

 

Old Business: 

-South New Boston Road Bridge-no news.  

-Seedlings for the Elementary School have been ordered

-No estimates yet from Ron Klemarczyk regarding boundary work (blazing).

-CE monitoring reports-done with exception to Scot.

-Files/filing-no news

-Moulton CE-no news

-Notebooks-no news

 

Other:

-Kelly mentioned a power point on invasives; Pam to bring a “Weed Wrench” to the next meeting.
