  1. On 4/14 at 1411 hours received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Dennison Pond road. A vehicle and operator description were also obtained. New Boston Police department, under mutual aid responded and confirmed that it was a utility worker. Cleared.
  2. On 4/15 at 1815 hours received a motor vehicle complaint of a Fed-Ex truck operating erratically, almost striking the complainant on Todd road as she was walking. Responded to the area and the vehicle in question was not located.
  3. On 4/16 at 2217 hours received a report of a tree down on 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike South near the Lyndeborough town line and was blocking the roadway. Francestown Highway responded and removed the obstruction.
  4. On 4/18 at 1145 hours responded to Candlewood Hill road to assist New Boston police with the serving of paperwork. Witness was located and paperwork served. Cleared
  5. On 4/20 at 0915 hours received a request for a welfare check from the Veterans Administration office in Manchester for a citizen residing in the area of Mountainside Lane in Francestown. The Hillsborough County Sheriffs department responded to the residence, contact made with the citizen who was found to be doing well. Telephone number given to citizen to contact the Veteran’s Administration if needed. Cleared.
  6. On 4/22 at 0709 hours received a complaint of an illegal dumping outside the fenced in area of the transfer station. Responded and located the items, waste oil, containers and two tires left by an unknown suspect. Investigation continues.
  7. On 4/24 at 1100 hours responded to Mountain road area to assist a resident with a VIN verification. Conducted same and cleared.
  8. On 4/24 at 1130 hours received a report from a resident located on Main street of a possible theft. The complainant indicated that sometime over the night-time hours the gas cap on his vehicle had been removed and he was unsure if any gasoline had been stolen.
 
  1. On 4/24 at 1300 hours responded to the area of Avery road for a reported illegal littering complaint. Upon arrival it was determined that an unknown suspect had thrown a flat screen television and stand on the side of Avery road. Upon further investigation a suspect was developed and was interviewed. While the criminal investigation continued the next day during the early morning hours, it was found that the illegal dumped items had been removed. Investigation remains open.
  2. On 4/26 at 1802 hours received a complaint of a canine nuisance complaint in the area of Trailside Terrace. The complaint is that the neighbor’s canine is constantly unrestrained, although “friendly” keeps charging the complainant and defecating on the neighbor’s property. The animal control officer was advised.
  3. On 4/26 at 2106 hours received a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Bennington road with people out of vehicle with flashlights checking the vehicle. State Police advised.
  4. On 4/27 at 0224 hours received a report of domestic assault and criminal trespass complaint in the area of School House road. It was reported that the suspect was still on scene and refusing to leave the property. State Police advised.
  5. On 4/27 at 2319 hours received a medical emergency in the area of Muzzey road for an 88-year-old male experiencing difficulty breathing. Emergency Services responded.
  6. On 5/1 at 0147 hours received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a whitetail deer in the area of 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike South and Avery road. No reported injuries to the occupants of the vehicle. New Boston Police department responded under mutual aid to the scene and conducted the initial investigation. The information was forwarded to this agency for further investigation, the operator was identified as one Leakhena Rose, age 42 of Lynn, Ma. Investigation report completed.
