  1. On 4/1 at 1449 hours received a complaint from a resident residing in the area of Bennington road relative to a nuisance, barking canine complaint. The owner of the canines was identified and contacted. The owner was advised of the complaint and a warning was issued and further action would be taken should this town ordinance be violated in the future. Cleared.
  2. On 4/2 at 0842 hours received a complaint in the area of Greenfield road at a residence of criminal threatening on a job location. N.H. State Police advised.
  3. On 4/5 at 0925 hours received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Greenfield road involving a deer strike. Upon arrival the operator, Kim Borges age 49 from New Boston stated that she was operating her vehicle, a 2021 Ford Explorer along Greenfield road when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck. The vehicle sustained moderate front end damage and was driven from the scene. The deer was not able to be located and was said not to be injured bad. Cleared.
  4. On 4/6 at 1146 hours received a report of an attempted scam from a resident in the area of Pleasant Pond road. The complainant reported receiving a phone call from a person allegedly being from Eversource Electric Company. The unknown caller stated to her that her electric bill in the last three months had not been payed and she needed to call another individual to correct this. The complainant knew this was not correct and hung up calling Eversource directly. They explained that it was in fact a scam and that Eversource never calls customers and to report this to the local law enforcement agency. Residents should be aware of this type of fraud is occurring. Cleared.
  5. On 4/8 at 0302 hours received a report of electrical wires down in the area of Old County road North. Eversource advised.
  6. On 4/8 at 1059 hours received a report of an alarm activation in the area of Poor Farm Road. Mutual aid department responded and found the residence to be secure.
  7. On 4/8 at 1702 hours received a complaint of OHRV’s in the area of Dennison Pond road. After speaking to the complainant and further investigation, it was determined the person operating the OHRV’s were on their own land. Cleared.
  8. On 4/10 at 0922 hours received a complaint of suspicious person/activity located at the Crotched Mountain Resort involving two guests staying at rental condo, who had now vacated the property. Responded and spoke with the manager along with other witnesses. The persons involved were identified and have been interviewed. The investigation is continuing into the allegations that were made.
