  1. On 8/24 at 2122 hours received a barking canine complaint in the area of 33 Eastside Lane. Animal Control Officer advised.
  2. On 8/26 at 0830 hours received a report of a tree down in roadway blocking access in the area of Pleasant Pond Road. Upon arrival this was confirmed. Eversource was contacted, arrived and roadway cleared at 1025 hours.
  3. On 8/26 at 1607 hours responded to the area of Mountain Road to assist a citizen with a VIN inspected. Completed same and cleared.
  4. On 8/26/ at 1959 hours received a request for a welfare check in the area of Old County Road (N). Upon arrival at 2005 hours, contact was made with the concerned party. The caller was informed that everything was in order. Cleared.
  5. On 8/27 at 0042 hours received a residential alarm activation in the area of Dennison pond Road. State Police advised.
  6. On 8/27 at 1220 hours received a report of a littering/illegal dumping complaint at the Transfer Station. Upon arrival the town employee explained that illegal issue. The homeowner was identified and residing in the Bible Hill Road area. After a short investigation the complaint was substantiated and resolved. Cleared.
  7. On 8/28 at 0715 hours a found property complaint was reported. The resident turned in a found wallet located on new Boston Road. The owner was identified from Manchester New Hampshire. The wallet was returned to the owner on this date at 1500 hours. Cleared.
  8. On 8/28 at 1145 hours responded to the area of South New Boston Road for a welfare check on a resident. Upon arrival received additional information from the calling physician to disregard. Cleared.
  9. On 8/29 at 1007 hours while on patrol came upon a single motor vehicle collision on Old County Road (S). The initial investigation indicated that no one was with the vehicle. The vehicle was traveling westbound on Old County Road (S), evidence indicated the vehicle went off on the left side of the roadway and traveled over into a low ditch line with the driver’s side and coming to final rest. The registered owner was identified. Again, no operator or occupants were found at the scene.  A local hospital was contacted to determine if the owner had been admitted and was advised that she had not. After approximately two hours of further investigation, the operator was located and it was determined that the operator was not injured or the unknown passenger. The vehicle was owned and had been operated by one Ethel B. Macstubbs, age seventy-eight of the town of Francestown. The vehicle was a 2012 Toyota Yaris. The vehicle had sustained major damage to the front end and drivers’ side at the time of the collision. The vehicle was removed from over the embankment and towed from the scene. Upon locating and speaking with the operator, there were certain elements identified that were reported to the Division of Motor Vehicles in Concord which is pending.
  10. On 8/29 at 1235 hours responded to the Highway Garage for a report of criminal mischief to a piece of equipment. Upon arrival the town employee reported that while a small Kubota tractor was parked on Todd Road overnight on 8/28, an unknown subject loosened lug nuts on the front rims. This caused damage to one rim. The incident is still pending.
  11. On 8/31 at 0417 hours received a complaint of shots being fired in the area of Todd Road. State Police advised. It was later determined by this agency that a neighbor was attempting to scare off coyotes from being near there domestic animals.
  12. On 8/31 at 0755 hours received a report of a motor vehicle accident on the 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike (S) involving two vehicles. It was initially reported as being in the town of Lyndeborough. Upon Lyndeborough Police arriving on scene at the Francestown town line, it was then determined that the first harmful event occurred approximately one-hundred feet into Francestown. The vehicles involved were traveling eastbound and the final rest of the vehicles were in Lyndeborough. Lyndeborough Police continued the collision investigation and Francestown Police responded for traffic control. Cleared at 1230 hours.
  13. On 9/2/ at 1230 received a request for a welfare check on a resident residing in the area of East Road. Upon arrival at 1247 hours made direct contact with the concerned person and everything was found to be in order. The person was asked to contact their relative. Cleared.
  14. On 9/2 at 1317 hours received a request from the Concord hospital to conduct a welfare check of a prior patient in the area of Mountainside Lane. Upon arrival at 1320 hours a family member of the concerned person was contacted and they advised that everything was fine with the concerned party. Concord hospital was advised and cleared.
  15. On 9/2 at 1526 hours received a report of several domestic animals loose in the area of Poor Farm Road. After several minutes the owners were identified and the animals in question escaped from grazing land on Bible Hill Road. Cleared.
  16. On 9/2 at 1840 hours responded to the town of Greenfield under mutual aid for a report of a possible trespassing issue in the area of East Road. It was reported that there were unknown people with a camper on land not owned by them. It was further stated that here had been others campers in this area during the summer months. After further investigation, the people campers were from Massachusetts. It was explained to them about private property and trespassing. It was suggested that they leave the area in the morning and the agreed with this. Complainant advised and was satisfied. Cleared.
  17. On 9/2 at 2133 hours responded to the town of Greenfield under mutual aid for a report of a juvenile having mental health problems and being defiant in the area of Slip Road. Upon arrival the parent was spoken with and the problem was explained. At this time the juvenile was counseled along with the parent on how to address the issue as the juvenile had calmed down considerably. Cleared.
  18. On 9/3 at 1400 hours received a report of found property, a wallet and personal property had been located along the roadway. The owner was identified from residing in Milford, Massachusetts. The property owner was contacted and responded on 9/4 to secure their belongings. Cleared.
  19. On 9/3/ at 2111 hours received a complaint from a resident in the area of Scoby Road of fireworks being discharged, although they wanted to remain anonymous. State Police advised. 
  20. On 9/3 at 2245 hours received a complaint from a resident residing on Poor Farm Road relative to a neighbor dispute. State Police advised at the time of the complaint but this agency conducted the follow-up investigation. The accused was contacted and warned relative to what was reported. If warranted, further investigation and criminal charges may be brought. Cleared.
  21. On 9/4 at 1138 hours received a report of a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Mount Crotched Road, and no injuries. Upon arrival, the operator was identified. Investigation indicated that the operator, Adam J. Bernabeo age 21 of Bennington New Hampshire was operating a 2007 Lincoln MKZ 4 door at the time of the collision. The operator attempted to make a U-turn at the end of the dead-end road. When the operator did this, he pushed on the accelerator and not the brake, striking the fence barrier with the hood and bumper of the vehicle. No damage to the metal fencing.
  22. On 9/4 at 1300 hours received a complaint from a citizen relative to a disorderly conduct issue with a person driving by them earlier. The accused was identified and warned that should he not cease his conduct he would be subject to criminal charges and a court appearance. Cleared.
  23. On 9/4 at 1517 hours received a report of a medical emergency in the area of Bennington Road for an eighty-two-year-old female that had fallen. Upon arrival, emergency personnel were on scene. Cleared.
  24. On 9/4 at 1715 hours received a report of a missing elderly male from out of town, although his vehicle and wife were still in town. The missing person’s wife explained that her husband parked his vehicle somewhere in town but she couldn’t remember where. After a cursory search as conducted in the immediate area and a detailed search was being organized, the missing elderly person was located. It was determined that he had walked up King Hill Road and into the wooded area and got lost. Family members from Milford NH had also been contacted. Cleared.
  25. On 9/6 at 0959 hours received a complaint of a neighbor dispute and disorderly conduct in the area of Eastside Lane. The complainant reported that a neighbor had come to her residence, confronting her and directing rude names and verbally being aggressive towards her. The accused was identified and further interviews were conducted. After completing the investigation, both parties involved agreed not to have any contact with one another in the future. Cleared.
  26. On 9/7 at 1039 hours received a report of a suspicious person walking in the area of Poor Farm and Bible Hill Road intersection. Upon arriving in the area at 1044 hours, the area was checked and the subject could not be located.
  27. On 9/8 at 0654 hours received a complaint from a citizen in the area of Russell Station Road for a canine barking and disturbing the complainant. Follow-up conducted and the owner was identified. Cleared.
  28. On 9/8 at 1700 hours received a report of a motor vehicle lockout at the Crotched Mountain Gold Course. State Police advised.
  29. On 9/8 at 2016 hours received a report of a medical emergency in the area of Gerrish Road for a female experiencing some type of bleeding. Medical personnel responded and assisted the patient.
  30. On 9/8 at 2027 hours received a report of an intoxicated female in the driveway of a resident on Mountain Road indicating that it was his wife. State Police advised.
  31. On 9/8 at 2236 hours received a report of a tree down on Russell Station Road, blocking the roadway and two driveways. Francestown Highway responded and cleared the roadway.
  32. On 9/9 at 0814 hours received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Russell Station Road. Further inquiry on this vehicle, it was determined to be a vehicle parked there from the evening before when the roadway was blocked. Cleared.
