        11/21/2023 – 12/3/2023

  1. On 11/21/2023 at 0720 hours received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle complaint in the area of Bible Hill road. Upon arrival in the area at 0726 hours, the vehicle was gone on arrival. Further investigation into a description of the vehicle it was subsequently located in a driveway of the Bible Hill extension area. The construction workers confirmed that they were previously in the area reported and were lost. Cleared.
  2. On 11/21/2023 at 1021 hours received a request for mutual aid into Greenfield to assist an officer on a motor vehicle stop at the Harvest Market. Upon arrival at 1028 hours, assistance was given and the operator of the motor vehicle was subsequently arrested and taken into custody for operating while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Cleared.
  3. On 11/21/2023 at 1500 hours received a complaint from a citizen of the Muzzey road area of possibly contamination of a body of water at the intersection of Route 136 and Muzzey road. It was reported that a gallon can of paint had previously fallen from a vehicle and the paint was on the roadway. The concern was for the body of water adjacent to the spillage. Responded only to find the paint had dried upon the asphalt. The empty gallon can was removed and it was found to be water passed paint. Cleared.
  4. On 11/22/2023 at 1451 hours received information from the Monadnock Kitty Rescue of a found feline in the area of Scoby Lane which they had possession of. After posting the location the feline was found and a photo on this agencies Facebook page, the owner was identified and subsequently was reunited.
  5. On 11/24/2023 at 1307 hours received a report of a missing twelve-year-old child in the area of Woodward Hill road. Upon arrival the missing child was located and retuned to his parent. Cleared.  
  6. On 11/26/2023 at 0700 received information of a previous motor vehicle collision involving a whitetail deer that was struck and was deceased the area of 1481 Bennington road. Follow-up was conducted with the resident who took possession of the deer and documents were filed. Cleared.
  7. On 11/27/2023 at 1545 hours received a complaint from a resident of Greenfield involving past tense road-rage incidents that originally occurred in the middle of the summer months and had since occurred with the same individual on several occasions. Upon further investigation a suspect was identified. The complainant was advised of the follow-up with the investigation, however was unsure if he wanted to proceed with motor vehicle charges and did not want the suspect contacted by this agency at this time. Case pending at this time.
  8. On 11/28/2023 at 0945 hours resident from the area of Todd road report that one of her vehicle registration plates were removed from her vehicle, likely while she was in Lawrence Massachusetts. Documentation of this information was completed.
  9. On 11/28/2023 at 1345 hours received a report of a residential alarm activation in the area of Mountain road. Upon arrival at 1352 hours the residence was found to be secure. Owner was contacted and advised of the activation. Cleared.
  10. On 11/28/2023 at 1839 hours received a report for a welfare check on an individual residing in the area of East road. Under mutual aid the Bennington Police Department responded and State Police were advised. The person of concern was eventually contacted, refusing any assistance. Cleared.
  11. On 11/30/2023 at 1645 hours responded to a residence in the area of Journey’s End road at the request of New Boston Police Department. This request was related to a follow-up investigation for their agency relative to a possible suspect of a Conduct after an Accident complaint. Responded to the location and assisted New Boston Police. Cleared.   
  12. On 12/2/2023 at 1109 hours received a report of a residential alarm activation in the area of Mountain road. Upon arrival at 1114 hours the activation was determined to be false, owner advised and cleared.
  13. On 12/3/2023 at 1656 hours responded to the area of Bennington road for a reported single vehicle motor vehicle off the roadway. Upon arrival at 1708 hours it was determined that there were no injuries. The operator was identified as one Jon A. Moore age 17 of Merrimack New Hampshire who had been operating a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. The investigation indicated that the vehicle was traveling southbound on Bennington road when the operator lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway and back onto Bennington road coming to final rest. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Mike’s Towing and the occupants were assisted in being transported from the scene. Cleared.
  14. On 12/3/2023 at 1820 hours received a report of a disabled motor vehicle in the area of 1433 Bennington road. Under mutual aid, the Bennington Police Department responded to the scene. Because of the dangerous location and the amount of time waiting for Precision Towing they were cancelled and Mike’s Towing responded to remove the vehicle. Cleared.
