  1. On 12/13 at 1239 hours received a call from a citizen for assistance in fingerprinting for an employment position. Assisted the citizens with the request and cleared.
  2. On 12/13 at 1354 received a report of a vehicle traveling out of New Boston into Francestown and the vehicle was being operated erratically and lane control issues. Suspect vehicle subsequently stopped on Route 47 as it was traveling northbound. After further investigation the vehicle was towed and the operator was taken into protective custody and later released to a family member in Bennington. Cleared.
  3. On 12/14 at 2138 hours received a call from a principle at Conval High school and requested a call back relative to assistance in furthering an investigation relative to a school shooting threat. Responded to the witness’s residence on Wilson Hill road and met with the juvenile and the guardians. Information was obtained from the witness that confirmed that there was in fact a school shooting threat. This information was provided to the principle. Cleared.
  4. On 12/15 at 1050 hours received a report of an animal neglect involving several canines and one feline in the area of East road. Further investigation was conducted and is on-going at this time and the Animal Control officer has been advised.
  5. On 12/15 at 1827 hours responded to the are of Bible Hill road to assist the Milford police department with a subpoena service. Issued same and cleared.
  6. On 12/16 at 1602 hours received a report of a vehicle off the roadway in the area of New Boston and Potash road. Upon arrival the operator was not injured and was waiting for AAA, Mike’s Towing to arrive. Remained at scene until the vehicle was removed. Cleared.
  7. On 12/16 at 1625 hours received a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle collision in the area of 711 New Boston road. Upon arrival the operator was identified as one Gabriel R. Chislett, age 19 of Madawaska Maine, but currently residing in Hancock N.H. who sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was a 2013 Volkswagen and was over an embankment which sustained heavy front-end damage. The operator was transported to the local hospital and the vehicle was towed from the scene. The causation factor of the collision was determined to be excessive speed and an Administrative license suspension will be requested through the New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Department.
  8. On 12/17 at 1001 hours received a report of tree(s) down in the area of Dodge Hill road. Highway advised.
  9. On 12/17 at 0851 received a call from a citizen in the area of Mountain road reporting a family issue. State Police advised.
  10. On 12/19 at 1213 responded to the are of Chandler road for the issuance of a Court ordered domestic violence petition. Served and cleared.
  11. On 12/19 at 1502 hours received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of South New Boston road. Upon arrival at 1515 the complainant was interviewed. Further information was received pertaining to a description of the vehicle and operator, however no specific license plate number was obtained. The immediate area was checked, no contact was made with the suspicious vehicle. Cleared.
  12. On 12/22 at 1056 hours received a report of a disabled vehicle in the area of Mountain road. Operator stated they slid off the road and got a flat tire. Stood by while Mike’s Towing responded to assist and cleared.
  13. On 12/22 at 1722 hours a citizen arrived at the police station with a found canine. Identification was located on the canine, owner was contacted who resided in New Boston and responded to secure the canine. Cleared.
  14. On 12/22 at 2310 hours received a report of a motor vehicle collision in the area of 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike South and Woodward hill road. Complainant advised that his vehicle slid off the roadway about fifteen feet, could not get out and AAA would responded in the morning. New Hampshire State Police advised.
  15. On 12/23 at 1200 hours responded to the area of Pleasant Pond road to issue Court ordered restraining order. Issue same and cleared.
  16. On 12/23 at 1720 hours received a report of a tree down in the area of Pleasant Pond and Todd road. Upon arrival and confirming the roadway blockage, the Francestown Highway Department notified and responded and removed the obstruction. Cleared.
  17. On 12/26 at 1044 hours received a complaint of criminal trespass and the illegal cutting of tress in the area of 406 Greenfield road. During the investigation the complainant was interviewed and a suspect was identified. The suspect was interviewed and acknowledged that he was in fact responsible for the trees being cut on the neighbor’s property. The accused agreed to requests by the complainant or he would be criminally charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Case suspended at this time and accused issued warnings for criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
  18. On 12/26 at 1955 hours received report of a medical emergency in the area of 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike (S) for a nineteen-year-old who was not alert. New Hampshire State Police requested Mont Vernon police to respond.
  19. On 12/28 at 1737 hours received a complaint from an Amazon driver of a suspicious vehicle and two occupants inside a vehicle in the area of Poor farm road. The complainant advised that while he was stopped the vehicle and occupants drove by him several times yelling things directed at him. The last time this occurred one of the subjects lifted up his jacket and allegedly displayed a firearm. Additional information was obtained however no specific information relative to a license plate number. The company of Amazon has been contacted requesting a supervisor contact this this agency and no return call from that supervisor has been received. Case pending.
  20. On 12/31 at 1641 hours received a complaint of a motor vehicle traveling on Bennington road into Francestown and the operator was possibly intoxicated. Upon arrival the operator was pulled to the side of the roadway and identified. Further investigation indicated that the operator was not intoxicated. Cleared.
  21. On 12/31 at 2047 hours received a suspicious person complaint in the area of Clarkville road who was banging on the front door and walking around on her property. Upon arrival and speaking with the complainant a description of the person and direction last observed was obtained. A short time later a person fitting the description was located on Woodward Hill road, a short distance from the complainant’s residence. The female individual was spoke with and the investigation revealed that the person lived in the area. She was assisted in getting her to the residence where her parents were located. Cleared.
