Old business:

  • Green burial. Ethel reports that the New Hampshire Land Trust Coalition is having a workshop on February 15, 2024 titled “Green Burial on Conservation Land -Digging into the Details.” It’s at Audubon Center in Concord.
  • Proposal to replace shed in Cemetery No. 3. Discussion of what we need. Ethel will try to get drawing of new proposed building. We should be prepared to show pictures of bad condition of structure. Discussion of pre-fab option. Those could range for $1,500 to $5,000. Noted that any pre-fab still requires total demotion of building costs and some renovation of the pre-fab for our needs (3 “bays”). Aesthetics important (to fit in with Cemetery and town). Discussion of need to be at Town Meeting.
  • Tech issues. Meg reports she had been talking to tech company about GPR tech (Ground Penetrating Radar). Plotbox has services but after $6,000 initial cost, it would cover $3,000 a year, so it is very, very expensive.
  • The Antrim Limerick said Antrim had volunteer do some GPR work for them. Stephen Arcone, geophysicist. Meg and Ethel will try to find him on internet.

Meeting adjourned at 10:50 a.m.
